This project is extremely personal for me. I have struggled with my mental health since middle school. During the end of 2019, I was struggling more than I ever have. Unfortunately, I was ready to say goodbye. I had a plan and a note written. I had mentioned to a friend that I had written a note, and the police were called for a wellness check. I have been lucky to have such a strong support system that has helped me get better.  For my senior seminar project for my Media Communications major, I created this visual poem that is based on the note that I wrote. I am very proud of it and I am so glad I was able to create art from my experience.
